iMce Remote (Basic edition) Screen Shots


Control Panel
(Media Center)


The screen above shows the general remote control interface for Windows Media Center, all key presses are directed at the MCE application only.

Using the media keys you can control playback of the currently selected media file, standard data input can be achieved by pressing the 'keys' button without leaving the MCE control interface, all key presses are directed to the MCE window in this mode rather than targeting any other windows application.


Gesture Interface
(Media Center)


The screen above shows the gesture interface for Windows Media Center only, all screen gestures are turned into key presses and directed at the MCE application only.

  • Touch and drag Left to Right, produces a right arrow.
  • Touch and drag Right to Left, produces a left arrow.
  • Touch and drag Top to Bottom, produces a down arrow.
  • Touch and drag Bottom to Top, produces an up arrow.
  • Tap in current position, produces an 'ok' enter press.


Numeric Keypad
(all applications)


The screen above shows the numeric keyboard interface for general input, all key presses are directed at the currently active window and can be used to target any standard windows application.



The 'Fn' key toggles between numeric and special function key input, while other toggles are provided for 'ctrl' 'alt' and 'caps' input.


Text Keypad
(all applications)


The screen above shows the standard keyboard interface for general input, all key presses are directed at the currently active window and can be used to target any standard windows application. Using the previous and next keys you can swap the keyboard input types.

The 'Caps' key toggles Capital Letters, forcing only capital letters to be sent, while other toggles are provided for 'ctrl' 'alt', after a key press is sent with the 'alt' or 'ctrl' toggle set, the toggle is reset for the next key.


*note the key sequence 'ctrl' 'alt' and 'del' cannot be sent from the keyboard input screens.

Mouse Usage:

In mouse mode the system moves the windows mouse pointer in coordination with your movements over the mouse pad area, to the bottom left is the touch area for the left click, and double tapping produces a double click, tapping the bottom right area produces a right click, starting a touch on the scroll wheel and then dragging either up or down will operate the scroll wheel.
